Job Summary

The COO supports the work of the company's chief executive officer focus ing on the establishment and optimization of day-to-day operations in the company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Advise the management team on key planning issues and make recommendations on important business decisions
  • Strategic planning and resource allocation
  • Establish operational processes/process improvement, best practices

Education

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communications, public speaking, and presentation skills
  • Solid working knowledge of budgeting, sales, business development, and strategic planning
  • Solid working knowledge of medical management operations
  • Ability to generate respect and trust from staff and external constituencies
  • Experience in health care industry, insurance, MSO, IPA
  • Superior critical thinking, analytical, drafting, problem solving and negotiating skills
  • Ability to work effetely with government and other regulatory agencies to protect the best interest of the company
  • Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
